All in all, the new development will see the acquisition and clearance of over 110 properties and the redevelopment of more than 150 new homes, mainly owner occupied, improved community facilities and a new retail centre forming a new urban village square to act as a community focal point.

Lovell, DK Architects and Wirral Council have been working on the plans for the new homes and retail centre for many months along with residents and demolition has already started to take place. It is anticipated that Lovell will be on Autumn 2009 with the retail centre being completed by Summer 2010.
