Wirral residents living in the Housing Market Renewal area could be saving money on their fuel bills thanks to the CosyHomes Initiative. It offers loft insulation and cavity wall insulation at NO COST for people in parts of Wallasey, Birkenhead, Tranmere and Rock Ferry. It may also assist with improvements to heating systems in certain circumstances. Since the scheme began, CosyHomes has assisted over 4000 households helping to save Wirral residents up to £460,000 every year on their fuel bills.

In addition, there are many grants and an interest-free loan available to help you make your home warmer and more energy efficient. Some are operated by Wirral Council and its partner organisations, others are national schemes funded by the Government and the energy companies.
